MY NOVEL THOUGHTS:
Yeah, Grounded Hearts was not a book I will be keeping. If I had known that this book would focus on Catholicism (I was raised Pentecostal) and frequent thoughts of sex and a lot of times of going against God knowingly? ... I would have not requested this book. Another book from Litfuse that I didn't feel comfortable reading (last on being Dragon Seed). I feel like these newer "Christian" books sound more and more like regular stories that are out in the world. I didn't finish this book. Half way through and I just could not continue reading a book that goes against what I've been taught and believe. Now yes people I read books of the world but I'm always very careful of the ones I read and keep in my house. Yeah so if were expecting a sweet story don't believe it.
I feel like I've been lied to (granted I requested the book and should have researched better). I also feel like this book had a hidden agenda to push Catholicism on unsuspecting Christian readers. Don't give me that look. Catholics have long ago strayed from what Christains are and both parties recognize this. There are surveys that ask you your religious belief and two of the options are Christian(and if you are whag denomination you belond to) or Catholic.
My opinion overall? Don't let the description of this book fool you. Don't look at the pretty cover because the inside is not. Although I will give the author this the writing (structure and the sorts) was up to par but other than that I think I'll not read from this author again.
